Justin Bieber: Never Say Never
Short Story:
A preteen girl's dream, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never gives Bieber fever-stricken fans an intimate (and 3-D!) look at the young star's rise from humble beginnings as a street performer in Stratford, Ontario, to beloved teen mega-sensation.

What They're Saying:
"Though anyone who needs convincing won't touch this one with a 10-foot pole, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never makes a persuasive case for its titular star as a far more talented-than-usual teen idol." - Variety

"Justin Bieber: Never Say Never may be the concert film as glorified promotional product, but it captures a genuine youthquake." - Entertainment Weekly

Good For Kids?
Kids will no doubt get a kick from seeing the Biebs up close and personal in Never Say Never.

Just Go with It
Short Story:
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star in this romantic comedy about a womanizing plastic surgeon named Danny and his desperate attempt to win the heart of a gorgeous (and much younger) school teacher named Palmer (Brooklyn Decker).

When Palmer finds a wedding band in Danny's pocket (he uses it to seduce women -- seriously!), he lies and tells her that he is married but he's getting a divorce. And so he must enlist his loyal assistant Katherine (Aniston) to keep up the ruse by pretending to be his soon-to-be ex-wife. Gee, wonder if they'll end up together in the end.

What They're Saying:
"Cheaper than a flight to Honolulu, with probably a few more laughs." - Financial Times

"There are far worse romcoms out there at present - not looking at anyone in particular, Kate Hudson..." - Real.com

Good For Kids?
Although Just Go with It may elicit a few laughs from your little ones, it's better to keep some of this flick's raunchier humor out of the reach of children.

Gnomeo & Juliet
Short Story:
In a animated comedic twist on Shakespeare's classic tale, garden gnomes Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt) find themselves in the midst of love's many obstacles when feuding neighbors threaten to get in the way of their fairy-tale ending.

What They're Saying:
"If it's not an unerringly faithful adaptation of Shakespeare's play, it still manages enough wit and charm to come off." - Orlando Sentinel

"In this bright, bouncy Shakespeare take-off, animated gnomes tell the tale of the classic romantic tragedy." - Us Weekly

Good For Kids?
Kids will fall in love with this animated tale of romance and friendship.

In case you missed...

The Roommate
Short Story:
College student Sara Matthews (Minka Kelly) welcomes her new roommate Rebecca (Leighton Meester) with open arms. But when Rebecca becomes obsessed with Sara, their relationship turns eerily psychotic (in a very Single White Female sort of way).

What They're Saying:
The Roommate has not yet been reviewed by critics.

Good For Kids?
This psychological thriller is full of games, but not the kind a kid would enjoy.

Frankie and Alice
Short Story:
Halle Berry plays Frankie Murdoch, a stripper suffering from a multiple personality disorder in 1970s Los Angeles. Based on a harrowing true story, the film follows Frankie as she struggles to keep her racist alter-ego Alice from dominating her life.

What They're Saying:
"This movie, with its flashbacks to past sins and traumas, rests squarely on Berry, a mesmerizer who makes every moment count." - Rolling Stone

"A hokey old-school drama of multiple personality disorder based, in the tradition of The Three Faces of Eve and Sybil, on a real case study." - Entertainment Weekly

Good For Kids?
Frankie and Alice takes on a level of seriousness that floats high above adolescent heads.

Sanctum
Short Story:
Based on real events and executive produced by James Cameron, Sanctum is a 3-D action thriller about a team of underwater cave divers who endure a frightening expedition through the Earth's most dangerous cave system. When a freak tropical storm collapses their exit, the team must go to painstaking lengths to find another way out.

What They're Saying:
"A subterranean survival epic that expertly tightens the screws even as one wishes it would keep a tighter mouth-clamp on its increasingly whiny characters." - Variety

"Dully predictable, with touching moments of noble sacrifice and cliched scenes of rank cowardice. But the filmmakers make its stock-in-trade situations visually arresting." - Orlando Sentinel

Good For Kids?
Sanctum lacks ghosts and goblins, but the dangerous thrill may give kids the chills nonetheless.
